Frequently asked questions…

  • We recommend children have their first dental check by the age of 3. This enables us to identify early concerns, help you to set up good dental habits for life and create early positive dental experiences in our fun children’s focused clinic.

  • Children normally lose their first tooth between the ages of 5 and 6. However every child is unique and some start as early as 4 years old or as late as 8 years old.

Book your child in for a check up if you have any concerns.

  • Children’s teeth are particularly vulnerable to interproximal caries (cavities between teeth). We highly recommend helping your children floss their teeth from a young age.

Flossettes are a tool that may make this easier for yourself and children. Ask us to show you at your next check up.

  • Eligibility depends on your individual circumstance. Visit your Medicare profile at mygov to find out.
